MicroBase Technology is founded in 1997 by a group of
entrepreneurs with expertise in academia, engineering
and business management. Riding the momentum of the unprecedented
growth of Taiwan's electronics industry in 1990s, this
group of entrepreneurs has devoted themselves to facilitating
the development of the emerging technologies such as Micro
Electro Mechanical Systems or MEMS. Taking advantage of
Taiwan's established industrial and economical infrastructures
and the strong demands from customers, MicroBase has established

MicroBase also introduces Taiwan’s first fully automated
laser material processing shop. Currently our production
facility in a class 10000 cleanroom is capable of mass
production of millions of workpieces such as polyamide
inkjet nozzleplates per month. With expertise and seasoned
experience in Laser LIGA technology for the development
and manufacture for miniaturized devices, parts and
systems, MicroBase has also become the only company
in Taiwan with non-Si based MEMS mass production capability.
With the completion of its new mass production and research
and development facilities in 2000 and the certification
of ISO9001:2000 in 2003, MicroBase has enabled itself

services for customers looking for low-cost, high precision,
high quantity and superior quality micron-scale device
and system solutions. MicroBase has been very successful
on helping its customers develop and manufacture high
dot-per-inch (1200 dpi or higher) inkjet nozzle plates,
high-end microphone filters, micro piezoelectric pumps
for fuel cells, micro sprayers for nebulizers, micro metal
meshes or nozzle plates for humidifiers and micro molds
for injection molding applications in consumer electronics,
medical, computer and renewable industries.
