The EM-141 range of portables
have been specially designed for use as a military platoon
radio in demanding environments. The portable covers the
full military comms range of 30 to 88 MHz and provides
full civilian CTCSS squelch functionality to interface
with police or paramilitary peacekeeping equipment as
well as the standard military sub-audio tone of 150 hertz.
The portables feature a rugged full metal case with covers
protected against the ingress of dust and water by the
use of special seals throughout. A stepped replaceable
battery with dual separated guides provides exceptional
strength and yet is easy to remove and replace under combat
conditions. |
